Our Projects
We have a strong record of working with local, state and federal organizations in the areas of public education, housing, transportation, parks and green spaces. Our work primarily focuses in Austin, Texas and in neighborhoods that are often left out of the conversation. Below is a list of current and past projects we have supported.

Our team coordinated engagement efforts in Austin’s historic St. John neighborhood to support the City of Austin, Greystar Development, and the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. Engagement supported community input to design 263 affordable housing units on 19-acres of land at IH-35 and St. John Avenue. The team hosted small group discussions, public meetings, resources fairs, and the implementation of the St. John Community Advisory Committee.

In 2024, the City of Austin launched its first-ever Quality of Life Study on Aging bringing older adults (50 and up) and their caregivers together. The goal was to share their needs and feedback as it relates to age friendliness and quality of life in Austin. Our team led an 18-month engagement process, by working intentionally with age-friendly partners to capture both qualitative and qualitative data. Our team supported Waterloo Greenway with re-engaging the historic community of East Austin to support preliminary design of Palm Park. Engagement included community gallery walks, small community conversation, large public meetings, and surveys to gather input. Over 1,500 residents provided input and supported the preliminary design of the historic park.

Our team supported the City of Austin Office of Sustainability with the engagement process for the Austin/Travis County Food Plan. This was an 18-month process to ultimately create a viable plan for the City and Travis County to implement regarding all aspects of the food system process from distribution to consumption.

Our team supported the City of Austin Transportation and Public Works Department and design team with Phase II of the Our Future 35 Cap + Stitch Project. During this phase, our team helped coordinate the Community Steering Committee (CSC), engaged with the community for feedback and held open public meetings including stakeholder workshops to gain insights on the programming and possible layouts for these Cap and Stitches.

Our team supported the Austin 2030 Network with conducting a pilot study to speak directly with students/parents to explore the barriers young adults face when considering college and life after high school. This outreach included hosting in-person/virtual interviews, and online surveys where stories and experiences were shared and exported to a comprehensive report on the findings and insights gathered.

On behalf of the St. David’s Foundation, our team is supporting with evaluating the (4) non-profit organizations who will be receiving the St. David’s Foundation Grant and report on findings from on-site observations while also conducting interviews with staff and individuals associated with these organizations.

Our team helped to support The University of Texas at Austin with the creation, writing and submission of a U.S. Department of Education Title V Grant. Our role was to gather ideas and goals from the Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI) Steering committee, key partners, offices and departments to help inform the grant writing process.

Together, our team worked with Briljent to help evaluate the local Health Information Exchange (HIE) in Austin to then create a strategic plan for implementing a unified system. Our role was to support the conducting of stakeholder interviews with health partners in Austin that offered insights into the current HIE system.

As part of the Community Voices Campaign, an effort to connect with the Austin community, we served the YMCA of Austin through the implementation of member surveys, focus groups, and Community Gathering events. Support was provided from the planning process to the execution.

Our team played an essential role in the planning of the Oakwood Cemetery “Historic Colored Grounds” project. With aid from the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, we are facilitated small group discussions with descendants, community members, and subject matter experts to maximize community involvement.

Over the summer, our team supports the Texas Youth 7v7 State Championship by maintaining a public presence and working with event leadership to plan the tournament. From the planning stages to the day of the event, we support every step of the way.

We supported the Austin Parks and Recreation Department with community outreach for the design of the Colony Park Aquatic Facility. We gathered input from the surrounding area for ideas and feedback on the community pool concept and design.

Our team played an integral role in supporting the City of Austin 2016 Mobility Bond. We created a comprehensive Public Engagement Plan to assist with community outreach in North, Central, and Southeast Austin.

We supported Dunaway Associates with community outreach for the preliminary engineering design of Colony Park Loop Drive. We gathered input on ways to improve connection between the two existing neighborhoods of Colony Park and Lakeside Hills.

Collaborated with Alta Planning + Design, as well as, the City of Austin and Capital Metro to provide marketing and community outreach services for city-wide programming. We also managed the Community Ambassador Program.

We support the City of Austin with the Colony Park Master Plan, providing public engagement services from planning to implementation. We continue to develop innovative methods for engaging residents in the Eastern Crescent.

Served as a member of Asakura Robinson project team to assist the City of Austin Economic Development Department with marketing and community outreach for the Aldrich Street & South 1st Business Districts.

In 2015, we devised a comprehensive engagement plan for the Austin Parks and Recreation Department. We gathered community feedback to identify aquatic improvements and educated the community on the current condition of Austin’s public pools.
